I admit that I like the idea of free IUDs, they're long term, without the need for people to remember taking them, humans are stupid and wont remember their meds, young ones especially young ones. Humans are driven to breed, and talking to them just doesn't work. Did you know that the frontal lobe of the brain isn't finished maturing until a person is in their mid 20s? The frontal lobe is responsible for emotional control/balance and for determining the value of risk taking behavior. By scientific standards that means humans are retarded until their mid to early 20s.

IUDs in the US are a dangerous road. Be careful what doctors like to prescribe, cause there are a lot of companies producing cheaply but marketing expensively the worst options. Not that IUDs are wrong at all, just inform yourself about the specific ones that are being sold to you. Some of them resulted in heavy complications for some women.

the problem i think with this birtcontrol is that it hurt a whole lot to put it in since it sits in the uterus, which means you have to widen the cervical canal and alot of women are very sensitive there. Maybe some of you have been having sex and it gets ”too deep” so it hurts, that’s when you hit the cervix. it still hurts less than giving birth tho.
